how much will it cost to engage JMS Style & Design?

Our services begin with a complimentary introductory call. Should you choose to proceed, we will schedule a Design Consultation where we attend your home for a in depth meeting regarding your project. The fee for the Design Consultation is $250. After thoroughly understanding the scope of your project, we will provide you with a customised Fee Proposal. The proposal is tailored to the specific requirements of your project, ensuring there is no flat fee, as each project is unique. You can choose to accept the Fee Proposal and we start working together, or, you can choose to revise the scope of work to reduce this fee.

what can i expect at the design consultation?

We meet at your home to gain a thorough understanding of the space within its environment. During this meeting, we discuss your goals, lifestyle, who uses the space, your preferred style, any proposed plans, and any finishes you may have already selected. We also take measurements, pictures and may do some sketching. This is a great opportunity for you to show any images of designs you like and overall look you are hoping to achieve.

what can i expect in the design advice session?

This session takes place in your home or the space being designed. We evaluate the area, understand your goals, and review any plans and material selections you’ve made. We then provide you with plenty of initial ideas to consider or offer a professional second opinion on your choices, suggesting alternatives if needed. Some clients find this session sufficient to continue their project independently. The Design Advice Session is intended to provide general guidance and does not include firm selections. After the session, I will provide a summary of our discussion or a Fee Proposal if you require further, more formal design assistance.
